My history is a good place to begin. I debated policy in high school, ending at the VSS level. I am now attending college at Marquette University with a focus in theology and ethics. During this time in college I've been judging for high school debate. I have judged LD, policy, and public forum.

That being said, my primary philosophy as a judge is that I am fallible. A component to debate is the presentation, and it is your job to impress upon me your arguments. Sometimes my flow is not immaculate, but more often than not, if you properly argue your position, especially with good organization, I will have a record as well as remember it. I have the ability to follow speed (I was a VSS debator, remember), but I don't prefer it as it deters from the presentation aspect of debate.
